Google AdWords Keyword Tool
Note: The-Google®
AdWords keyword locater tool is a relatively new key-word
tool from Google® to help you find good internet-keywords.
Google's Adwords® Tool is different from Overture's
in that OV Suggestion Tool gives results on how often
words are searched at overture.com and partner websites
whereas the new Google® Tool is here to help you
locate keywords rather than indicating their word popularity.

New Google Suggest Tool
- What is Google
Suggest?
As you type into the Google search box, Google® Suggest
guesses what you're typing and offers word and phrase
suggestions in real-time. This is similar to Google's
"Did you mean?" feature that offers alternative spellings
for your query after you search, except that it works
in real time. For example, if you type "bass," Google
Suggest might offer a list of refinements that include
"bass fishing" or "bass guitar." Similarly, if you
type in only part of a word, like "progr," Google
Suggest might offer you refinements like "programming,"
"programming languages," "progesterone," or "progressive."
You can choose one by scrolling up or down the list
with the arrow keys or mouse.
- That's pretty cool.
How does it do that?
Our algorithms use a wide range of information to
predict the queries users are most likely to want
to see. For example, Google Suggest uses data about
the overall popularity of various searches to help
rank the refinements it offers. An example of this
type of popularity information can be found in the
Google Zeitgeist. Google® Suggest does not base
its suggestions on your personal search history.

Overture® is a good internet-marketing possibility
you may want to explore by contacting them. In fact,
easy searching for good keywords and paid listings based
on targeted keywords is the main reason Keyword Selector
Tool & Suggestion Tool was developed, in addition
to making the web-address easy to remember.
The reason we say "easy to find" is because
the Suggestions Tool URL which uses a lengthy and hard
to remember URL, making its full name difficult to recall,
unless you have it Bookmarked.
Even if it's Bookmarked, it's still difficult to use
as Overture® sometimes changes their Suggestion
Tools URL, making it difficult for web-surfers to keep
up with the latest url being used.
We have simplified this for our web-site visitors by
simply using the generic name Suggestion Tool.com, rather
than a complicated URL.
We also keep up-to-date with the occasional changed
keyword suggestion tool linked name, changing it whenever
needed for your ease-of-use.
After checking keyword/key phrase search term popularity
at Suggestion Tool
you may also want to see how much other websites are
paying for keywords and key term premium listings.
You may check key-term bid prices in real-time and
see which Top-3 Terms qualify for Premium Listings,
seen by 85% of all active internet users (according
to Overture) at this direct link View Actual

Still another opportunity is registering domains which
are acronym's. Acronym's are typically 2, 3 or 4 characters
long, most often 3 or 4 letters. They can even be longer
than 4 letters, such as USPTO for U.S. Patent (and)
Trademark Office, a 5 letter acronym.
Acronyms are defined as a word formed from the initial
letters of a name, such as USAF for United States Air
Force, CTCN for Commodity Traders Club News, NFA for
National Futures Association, MLS for Multiple Listing
Service. Click-Here
to do acronym research at the AcronymFinder.com
web-site.
You also may decide to find and register internet domain names which are so called typo's of popular search-terms also as a result they tend to get internet-traffic. Statistics published by Google® indicate 10% of google.com searches are actually misspells.
For example, instead of someone searching for a site such as PerfectLaser.com the name is incorrectly spelled PerfectLazer, with the word laser being misspelled lazer. You may use the free searchspell.com 'typo' tool below to locate common misspelled words:
A word of caution, as with all domain names, avoid
acronyms or misspellings which are also trademarks or servicemarks.
Once you locate some good keywords, acronyms, terms
or phrases and check search popularity by using the
Overture Suggestion Tool, you may then check to see
if the domain name is available and register the domain
by Clicking-Here
consisting of those words, or with some of your selected
words included in the domain name.

Getting a US Trademark of your domain name(s) may come
to mind next to stop others from using it, and also
protect you against so called "reverse cyber squatting,"
a.k.a. domain theft. However, it's costly, time consuming
and successfully registering a trademark is far from
certain.
Normally a trademark attorney is used as the procedure
is somewhat involved. This may cost several hundred
dollars in attorney fees. In addition, trademark processing
fees charged by the US Patent & Trademark Office
are also costly.
Another negative is the fact both attorney fees and
USPTO fees are non-refundable if your trademark application
is not approved, which rejections occur fairly often
for various reasons.
Still another negative is the very long time involved
from application date to final trademark approval and
the successful trademark TM registration number being
issued.
Our experience for the USPTO trademark processing time
has been greater than 1-1/2 years, sometimes less time
but also sometimes even longer! A recent US Trademark
we obtained on a flagship type of name took a painstakingly
long 20-months from start to finish!
By an odd coincidence, an interesting example of the
effort and amazingly long time involved in getting a
US trademark successfully registered is the Goto.com,
Inc. application for US Trademark's on the word GOTO
and GOTO.com
The Goto applications have been going on since Sept
1998 and still may not be a registered US TM as far
as we can tell after 4-yrs have gone by! It's interesting
to note Goto indicates their "Mark" is both
a Servicemark (SM) and a Trademark (TM) on their website,
though they were not officially registered at the time.

By the way, it's a well known fact servicemark &
trademark laws can be quite different than domain name
regulations and the domain dispute resolution policy
process and cybersquatting laws.
If you decide to get a "Service Mark Certificate,"
the SM can pertain to your full domain name (importantly)
including the TLD, i.e. the .com, .net, .org part of
the name. In fact, we recommend you SM the entire name,
including the domain extension.
If your main goal is to protect your domain name, you
will likely want to get a servicemark certificate on
MyDomainName.com, rather than MyDomainName (without
the extension).
It's especially important to get an SM which includes
its TLD extension if you are using, or intend to use
the complete name and url as your business or company
name.
It's unlikely another firm would have a Mark on your
name with the TLD extension, since there obviously can
be no more than one exact domain name the same as yours,
including the domain extension.
As a result of all the negatives referred to we normally
suggest foregoing a formal and official U.S. Trademark
or Servicemark and opting instead for a "Service
Mark Certificate." issued by a private non-governmental
company (such as Trademark-Protection Org).

A private issue "SMC" may offer significant
and effective trademark protection for your new web-business
presence, rapidly and at very low-cost.
However, if your internet-domain-name is a high-profile
(truly valuable domain name) then the full government
trademark process is recommended. But during the long
govt TM process it's also an excellent idea to get a
quick and easy private issue servicemark certificate
to protect you during the long trademark waiting time
and beyond.
An excellent, fast, easy and low cost option to a formal
trademark is a "service mark certificate,"
which in-effect provides you domain name, product or service
trademark protection.
This TM/SM protection (both governmental and private
issue service-marks) are based on the so called "first
in commercial use" doctrine. The first-in-use rule
is adhered to by the U.S. Trademark Office regarding
trademark applications.
A Service-Mark Certificate and the additional commercial
use verification evidence supplied with it publicly
verifies the date you started commercial use of the
domain name/identity and/or product/service.
A highly effective and low-cost way this is done is
by having a 3rd-party organization (i.e. Trademark-Protection.org)
conduct the necessary Non-Competing & Non-Existing
Mark validity search and issue your SM Certificate,
and also submit the domain name(s) on your behalf to
the major search engines. (Note: Verified Search Engine
submissions help prove commercial use.)
Another significant SM benefit you may not be aware
of is your strong future trademark rights based on the
first-use doctrine followed by the US Trademark Office.
If you decide to apply for an official USPTO trademark
and/or servicemark later on, perhaps several years later,
you may use your trademark-protection.org servicemark
certificate to prove first-use. Thus, your first use
of the Mark is powerful evidence only you have the right
to a trademark on the Mark, based on the doctrine of
first commercial use.
As an example, let's say a few years after you first
start using the mark a third party tries to register
a TM on the same words. You may be able to successfully
challenge their trademark application (and trademark
it yourself) based on your service mark and first use
evidence.
If you are wondering if Marks and SMC's may be transferred,
the answer is Yes. It's still another benefit of having
a trademark/servicemark. Marks may be easily assigned
in the event of a sale of your product, service or website.
Once you go to the link below to order your service
mark, it will be processed very quickly. In a few days
written proof and your very own custom and notarized
Service Mark Certificate is sent to you (which very
effectively verifies its "commercial use,")
via both email and postal mail.
Please remember SM Certification from trademark-protection.org
is not an official government servicemark issued by
the US Trademark Office. It's a much quicker, easier
and lower-cost alternative. It has significant legal
protective aspects to it and is extremely valuable,
in certain ways perhaps as valuable as an official Service
Mark from the official U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Thus the next recommended step in the suggested domain
word selection, registration, web-hosting and protection
process and procedure is to Click-Here
to obtain your Service Mark (SM) Protection fast and
at surprisingly reasonable cost and ease via Trademark-Protection.org.
The last suggested step for you to take in this website
business presence process is, obtaining a registered
Certificate of Authenticity for your product.
Though this step is not as important as the preceding
ones as far as domain name protection is concerned,
nevertheless it offers some interesting and unique benefits
to both protect your website and also add even more
overall value to your product and/or website.
An authenticity certificate in the past has mostly
been used for authenticating products, such as computer
hardware, computer software, merchandise and goods,
etc.
Though a Certificate of Authenticity has been more
applicable for a physical product, there is absolutely
no reason a COA can not be issued for an internet domain
name/website, and that is available as an option for
you, which will certify your website/domain is "authentic."
In other words as an example, you may want to get a
registered COA to inform the public your dot-com domain
is in fact an original and "authentic" name
vs. an implication you may want to convey there are
so called "non-authentic names" such as the
dot-net, dot-tv, dot-info, dot-ws, and various other
tld or country-code versions of your name.
A registered & certified Certificate of Authenticity
may also be used to show your domain is an authentic
name vs. the many possible misspelled and twisted versions
of your name that may be out there.
A "certificate of authenticity" is extremely
valuable if you are selling a product, or offering products
and software via a website, including online software
via downloading.
COA's will also add significant credibility and substantial
perceived value to your product/service. In fact, adding
value and credibility in the view of potential clients,
is the primary reason authenticity certificates are
popular.
A COA may also help you achieve greater sales. That's
because it's an extremely valuable benefit to potential
buyers, to help you achieve success, be it actual product
sales, or domain name/website value and success.
It's an optional and unique extra you can add to your
product/website/domain name by
Clicking-Here to order your Individually
Numbered Certificate Of Authenticity (COA) easily and
at surprising low-cost. It will certify your product
and/or website as being certified as authentic to the
public.
As an additional benefit, a "COA" also further
demonstrates first-in-use and commercial usage of your
product to enhance your present ownership, service mark,
and future TM application and trademark registration
rights!
Please note we are giving our opinion and interpretation
on some of the subjects discussed here, which may or
may not be accurate from a legal viewpoint. We are not

As a side note, last year Goto officially changed their
name to Overture. Their new website is Overture.com.
Goto.com was placed on redirection to Overture.com.
Isn't this news surprising? After all, Goto has spent
zillions of dollars marketing goto to the point it has
become quite well known.
Since then they have spent zillions of dollars starting
all over again with their new Overture name and a very
costly and lengthy new branding process! What is amazing
about this is the fact Goto appears to be a significantly
"better", more memorable and higher value
name than Overture. Without regard to the web-site itself,
which domain name would you rather own, Goto.com or
Overture.com?
In fact, the overture name not only seems significantly
inferior overall, but it's even somewhat tricky to spell.
For example, while typing this paragraph we spelled
it wrong twice, spelling it Oversure in error!

compared to their records.
